Public Education Programs and Events:
Section 2.1(a) of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 states, “every municipality shall establish a program in the municipality which must include public education with respect to fire safety and certain components of fire prevention”, to that end the Members of the Chatham-Kent Fire Department are committed to educating the residents of our communities in Fire and Life Safety.
Programs in which the department participates and offers include:
