Passing of Firefighter (Donald) Wayne Fleury

We are sad to announce the passing of firefighter Wayne Fleury. A statement from Chatham-Kent Police explained that “Wayne was working for a firm repairing eavestroughs on an implement shed when he fell off a ladder. He was conveyed to hospital by ambulance where he succumbed to his injuries.”
Firefighter Wayne was married and the father of two children. He served as a dedicated and caring Chatham-Kent firefighter for ten years, eight in station #17 Merlin and two in station #18 Blenheim.
Our sincere condolences are extended to wife Michelle, daughter Nicole, son Matthew and the extended family for this very sad and sudden loss.

NOTE: There will be a firefighter walk through on Monday evening. Please muster at Blenheim Fire Station, 2 Charles Street, Blenheim at 6:30 pm. There is parking behind the firehall.
